Not an autobiography, but autobiographical, these very short stories are memories of a retired school band director, covering eight decades from the 1940s through the 2020s of family life, teaching, and travel as well as time in the Navy and a myriad of part-time jobs.From the author, "Memories are among our most precious possessions and it is a pleasure to share my experiences of joy, adventure, irony, and humbleness, as well as some rather amazing coincidences." Intentionally, all the accounts are short, if not brief. Many, if not most, are short enough to read while waiting for the coffee to brew or your turn at a doctor’s office or to simply fill in the time of a few spare minutes one might have.
