The faces have a brushed finish, while the reference edges are lapped smooth for straightness and parallelism. There is a groove milled in the inner corner to provide clearance for burrs and debris. Manufactured to strict German DIN 875/0 standards and guaranteed square to within 0.0004 inches over the entire length of the longest edge (that’s just four ten-thousandths of an inch). Comes in a triangle cardboard box. Includes signed inspection certificate.
