This Moroccan Quatrefoil repeat pattern stencil is perfect for home wall decorating. It can be lined up with previously painted areas for easy alignment across your wall space. Our reusable stencils can be used for many other decorative home projects. SIZE OPTIONS - Choose the size suitable for your project. We have 4 sizes to suit whatever project you have in mind. The actual design is cut into the sheet with a small border left around the edges for masking off etc. WHAT ARE THE STENCILS MADE FROM? The stencil has been cut from transparent Mylar stencil sheeting which is thin yet strong and hard wearing. Our stencils are reusable, washable and flexible and are suitable for use with most types of paint. HOW DO YOU PAINT YOUR STENCIL? Instruction for wall stenciling - also good as a guide for smaller art/craft projects. The most popular way to paint this stencil is with a dense foam roller and Emulsion paint which works great on a wall. Adhere the stencil to the surface you want to stencil using repositionable spray mount and pieces of tape. Paint through the cut out parts of the stencil, making sure not to use too much paint as this will leave a blotchy result. Place the stencil at the top of the wall to paint your first repeat - making sure that it is level. Find an area of the wall where you can do an uninterrupted row down the wall from ceiling to floor. Once you have done this row, position the stencil to the left or right and paint the design horizontally Bend the stencil into the corners or against the ceiling or skirting board (mask of areas you don't want to get paint on) and finish those areas you cant get to with the roller with a brush. Wash your stencil in warm soapy water only when the paint build up on the stencils is effecting the results you are getting - not after every use.
